A Celebration of Malaysian Food & Culture
From 11 September to 9 October 2026, enjoy regional favourites from Pahang, Melaka, Ipoh, Johor, Perak, Penang, Sabah and Sarawak. From hearty curries and comforting broths to wok-fried seafood, regional specialities and traditional sweets.
With guest Chef Melvin Gatu from Shangri-La Tanjung Aru, Kota Kinabalu, showcasing the flavours of East Malaysia with Linopot, a traditional Sabahan dish prepared with locally sourced ingredients and aromatic herbs.
The celebration also comes alive with Alang Sinsiron, a traditional dance of the Murut ethnic community in Sabah, offering guests a glimpse into Sabah’s rich cultural heritage and traditions.
The feast continues with live stations featuring Roti Canai, Nasi Kandar and refreshing Malaysian-inspired beverages, alongside J65’s signature seafood buffet and international favourites.
Presented in collaboration with Tourism Malaysia Singapore, Sarawak Trade and Tourism Office and Sabah Trade and Tourism Office Singapore, with the support of the High Commission of Malaysia in Singapore, Rasa Malaysia celebrates the breadth, warmth and diversity of Malaysian food and culture.

Sabah Trade and Tourism Office Singapore was honoured to attend the 2026 National Day and Malaysia Day Reception, held on 10 September 2026 at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, Singapore.
The reception featured remarks by H.E. Datin Paduka Anizan Siti Hajjar Adnin, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Singapore, and Mr Chee Hong Tat, Minister for National Development of Singapore, with around 600 guests in attendance.
In her remarks, H.E. Datin Paduka Anizan highlighted the importance of sustaining strong and forward-looking Malaysia–Singapore relations, particularly amid an increasingly challenging and unpredictable global environment. She also emphasised opportunities to strengthen bilateral ties through closer economic integration, better connectivity and stronger people-to-people ties.
Mr Chee Hong Tat reaffirmed Singapore’s appreciation for its close collaboration and partnership with Malaysia, highlighting the importance of exchanging ideas, sharing experiences and working together on practical solutions for the benefit of both countries.
